Map & Location Data
Map tiles and store-location mapping use OpenStreetMap data, © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Address lookup (e.g. filling in coordinates for a new store) uses OpenStreetMap's Nominatim geocoding service, subject to its own usage policy.
Product Data
Barcode lookups and product pre-fill data may include information from Open Food Facts, a free, open database of food products, available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Product images and text sourced from Open Food Facts remain the property of their respective contributors under that project's terms.
Open Source Software
CartSignal's web app and mobile apps are built using open-source software, including but not limited to:
- Next.js & React — MIT License
- Supabase JS / SSR client libraries — MIT License
- Leaflet — BSD 2-Clause License
- react-leaflet — Hippocratic License 2.1, a non-standard "ethical source" license (distinct from typical open-source licenses — it includes use-based restrictions in addition to the usual permissions)
- ZXing (@zxing/browser, @zxing/library) — barcode scanning, MIT / Apache License 2.0
- dnd kit — drag-and-drop, MIT License
- Recharts — charting, MIT License
- Expo & React Native (mobile apps) — MIT License
Fonts use Poppins via Google Fonts, licensed under the SIL Open Font License.
This list covers the libraries with a notable license or attribution requirement, not every package CartSignal depends on. Questions about a specific dependency? Email us at support@shoppingcartsignal.com.
