Bravo Supermarkets

Bravo Supermarkets is a chain of independently owned grocery stores specializing in multicultural and Hispanic foods, established in 1991 under the banner supported by Krasdale Foods, a New York-based distributor founded in 1908. It is the second largest Hispanic-focused supermarket chain in the United States. The chain's origins trace back to Krasdale Foods' efforts to create a network of stores targeting urban and ethnic markets, with expansion accelerating in the early 2000s as New York store owners migrated southward, leading to the opening of Florida's first Bravo in 2004. Today the banner has 100-plus locations across the northeastern and southeastern United States, with each store independently owned and stocked to reflect the cultural needs of its local community.
