3 Rivers Natural Grocery was founded in the 1970s as 3 Rivers Food Co-op, beginning as a natural foods buying club in a church basement with over 200 members who ordered food monthly. The buying club grew into a storefront that expanded three times, finally settling into a spacious building in 2003 under the name 3 Rivers Natural Grocery. It's a single store at 1612 Sherman Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46808, operating as a member-owned cooperative. The store carries only 100% organic certified produce, stocks natural, non-GMO, and organic items, and features a deli and cafe as well as a personal care and wellness department.
